In crisis? Ibraluks Foundation is not emergency care. In the US, call or text 988. Elsewhere, find a helpline. If you are in immediate danger, call your local emergency number.

Community Guidelines

Your story is the medicine

Simple agreements that keep our peer-support space kind, safe, and useful.

Peer support, not treatment. Ibraluks Foundation offers education and peer support only. We are not a crisis service and do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or therapy. In a crisis in the US, call or text 988. Elsewhere, see our helpline directory or call your local emergency number.

Our agreements

  1. Speak from your own experience. Use "I" statements. Share what helped you, not what others "should" do.
  2. No medical advice. Do not diagnose anyone, recommend or discuss doses of medication, or tell anyone to stop treatment. Encourage talking to a licensed professional.
  3. Be kind and non-judgmental. No harassment, hate, bullying, or mocking anyone's experience, faith, culture, or identity.
  4. Protect privacy. What is shared here stays here. No screenshots. Do not post your own or anyone's phone number, address, school, or workplace.
  5. Safe content only. Do not describe methods of self-harm or suicide, share graphic images, or post numbers, weights, or calories related to eating. Use content notes for heavy topics.
  6. No selling or recruiting. No ads, fundraising, coaching offers, crypto, or "cures."
  7. Keep conversations in the open. Support happens in moderated channels. Do not move someone into private messages for support, and never contact a minor privately.
  8. AI tools. Do not post AI-generated "advice" as if it were expert guidance, and never share someone else's words with an AI tool.
  9. Crisis means helplines, not chat. If you or someone else is in danger, call 988 (US), your local emergency number, or a helpline.

Age rules

The main community is for adults 18 and older. Teens aged 13 to 17 may join only the separate youth space (see youth rules). No one under 13 may join.

If guidelines are broken

Moderators may remove posts, give a warning, mute, or remove members. Serious harm (threats, sexual content involving minors, grooming, doxxing) means an immediate permanent ban and, where the law requires, a report to authorities. Details are in the Safety & Moderation Protocol.
